There are lots of video consultation providers out there.
The need for video during COVID-19 crisis is evident.
What about us makes Q health (from Q doctor) a sensible choice of platform?
An exciting partnership forged during the COVID-19 crisis means we have put the two products together for the purposes of effective 'total triage' for practices. Whether you are a practice, PCN, Federation or CCG, both eConsult and Q health are now FREE OF CHARGE and centrally funded. [Click here to email [email protected] to get started right away]
Our insight dashboards have been built at county-wide (STP) level where we have been commissioned with the specific remit of giving insight into how video is being used. When the COVID-19 crisis settles, you'll want to know how video was used and whether it is valuable going forward (both as reported by clinicians and patients and from an economic standpoint for commissioners). Our dashboards operate at practice, PCN, Federation, CCG and STP/ICS level to give appropriate insights.
Our partners Isosec have just had Virtual Smartcards approved nationally.
This fits perfectly with our virtual PCs, which we have spent months connecting to the HSCN network, that allow clinicians to use their own hardware securely (no laptop or smartcard reader needed, no need for a smartcard, and no need for a VPN). This is particularly popular at the moment for use by well self-isolating clinicians.
We are a CQC regulated organisation, and have bank of fantastic clinically vetted GPs. You can use additional capacity at the push of a button through our market-leading Digital Locum service if you need to cover certain hours. This is in place supporting hundreds of practices nationwide with extended access sessions.
While the short term benefit of video is great for Covid-19, one of the longer term benefits of this medium will be the ability for practices to form a sustainable digital relationship with their patients; to, for example, use digital tools to help them to manage their long term condition or with medication adherence. Video only 'meetings' tools do not facilitate this; they don't have the scheduled care components or necessarily even the ability for patients (once in to their initial consultation nice and quickly) to create a fuller account for continuity of care thereafter. Q doctor (and in fact eConsult as well) work closely with the NHS App team on integration, since they bring that fuller functionality and are beginning to work alongside longterm condition technologies (telehealth device monitoring for example) meaning that practices can truly begin to develop a longer term digital relationship with their patients. This, ultimately, is likely to be via the NHS app and the patient-facing technologies like Q doctor and eConsult which underpin it.
